Term 1 in STEAM: This term we are investigating physical sciences.

In prep we are looking at movement. At this age, students are interested in what they can do and how they can do it. We played a role play game, and the students mimicked how fast and slow animals move. We jumped like kangaroos and slithered like snakes.

The grade 3/4s are looking at forces. This week, the students used magnets to make an object move. There were great conversations around the room about what the magnet was doing.
