Miss Karen and Myself would like to welcome everyone to a new school year. We would like to extend a warm welcome our new students Scarlett and her parents Bec and Ryan to our 1/2K class and the St Francis Xavier school community. We are so proud of how the year 1/2 students have settled in after our summer holidays and we are very excited for a fulfilled year of learning ahead.

House keeping

Just a reminder that the following school supplies are required at school as soon as possible as the student will require them in the upcoming weeks:

• Art smock
• Library bag
• Blue folder for take home readers
• Hat
• Headphones

Specialist Timetable

Students will beginning specialist classes next week, our lessons will be on the following days

• Monday: Italian & Performing Arts
• Tuesday: Sport (sport uniform)
• Thursday: STEM & Art
• Friday: Library & Swap take home readers 

Our First Week of Learning

This week we have been sharing stories, practising our handwriting, collected data on our birthdays and have been counting to 10's. Our inquiry unit this term is 'Getting older and wiser' where we will explore staying safe, healthy eating and taking responsible risks.
