A Look at Learning

Welcome back to what is shaping up to be a very busy term! 

NAPLAN 

This year NAPLAN assessments are being conducted earlier than in the past with them occurring in week 8 and week 9 of Term 1. Students are already working with the online platform in class. These Australia wide assessments are for Year 3 and Year 5 students in the domains of Writing, Numeracy, Conventions of Language and Reading. Please keep your eye out, as more information will be available in the coming weeks.

SPRINTING INTO READING!

Our Reading Sprints have commenced this week with the aim of our targeted students to read with an adult at least four times per week. Students will be engaging with non-fiction texts this round and our year 3 to 6 students will also be familiarising themselves with our Literacy Pro platform.
