Opening School Mass: 

Thankyou to everyone wh attended our opening school mass last Wednesday. It was a beautiful gathering where we were able to induct our new school leaders for 2023. Thank you to everyone for being involved and stepping in when required!

Ash Wednesday:

Next Wednesday, 22nd February, is Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday signifies the first day of Lent and the preparation time for Easter where we pray, fast and almsgive. On Ash Wednesday we are having a Family Mass, held in the School Undercroft, and we invite all our families, friends and community member to come celebrate with us. The Mass will start at 12:00pm and entry is through Meade Street gates. Following this there will be donation boxes for our school to support Cartitas Missions this year going home with students. More information to follow. 

Father Gleeson's Visit:

On Tuesday, we were fortunate enough to have Father Gleeson visit Kindergarten and Stage 3. In Kindergarten he spoke about the Church and answered many questions! Stage 3 was based around their current RE unit of work where Father Gleeson delved deeper into the Beattitudes, helping us to understand and compare the two Scripture passages of Matthew and Luke. Thank you to Father Gleeson for visiting and sharing your knowledge! We are so very fortunate!
