Infection control

This is to update you all for the following:

1. We currently have 6 COVID +ve cases in the facility 

2. After discussion today, new isolation period for staff with COVID positive is 5 days. Staff can come back to work on Day 6 if there are no symptoms at all.

3. Considering water quality and our residents health, please use bottled water until further notice.

4. Regarding residents coming from hospital, please isolate them in their rooms for 72 hours and RAT test them Day 1 and 3. If negative can come out of room on Day 4.

5. For residents going out on social leave, staff to monitor them for any symptoms and temp check x 7 days. Isolate if symptomatic and do RAT test ASAP.

6. Mask fit testing is in progress, you will be notified for your appointed time slots.

7. Just a reminder for all the staff, once a resident is out of isolation precautions please don’t take all the things out of resident’s room and put it in board room or infection control room, wait for cleaning staff to do a full clean as they will ensure that all the items are disinfected and cleaned and then return to board room and I/C room.
