Laundry, kitchen and cleaning staff do not need to enter into the positive residents rooms, care staff will deliver meals, clean clothes and do cleaning of room when attending to the residents.

We staff will now need to RAT test daily before coming to work, pleased collect RATs from reception if you need more. Staff must continue to wear P2 masks at all times on shift.

Staff can continue to enter and exit the building as normal, if any changes are made we will inform you.

For staff working in Alexander and Pevensey you need to have your breaks in the courtyard area.

Visiting hours will change as of tomorrow, back to 10-12 and 1-4 7 days a week with reception on weekends.

Visitors will RAT before entering, and must keep their P2 masks on at all times.

Visitors can visit into Alexander and Pevensey wing, they must wear a P2 mask and put on a face shield on entering into these wings. They can visit our COVID positive residents but they must don full PPE for these visits.

Our positive residents need 4hrly observations, and a progress note entry each shift, and are commencing on antivirals.

As a team we’ll get through this, as we have before. Continue with your good infection control processes. Monitor all our other residents for any symptoms, and RAT if needed.

At the end of each shift staff must check and make sure all bins are emptied.

At anytime if extra PPE supplies are needed they are all stored in the Boardroom.

Stay safe and take care, and thanks to you all for your dedication to our residents.
