Staff News  - CEO Update

I am not sure where this year has gone? It has certainly thrown up more than our fair share of challenges for each one of us.

Just when we thought, we were returning to some sort of COVID normal, sharing the festive season with our families and friends the Murray, Goulburn and Campaspe rivers present us with another set of unique challenges. For those of you who have been directly affected by the flood waters our thoughts and best wishes are with you as you commence the difficult task of flood recovery.

Once again, I am honoured to be your CEO as you have again demonstrated your resilience and ability to work together to keep our residents safe during these difficult times.

Re-accreditation

Your ongoing commitment to meeting and delivering care above and beyond the Quality Standards has meant that we have been re-accredited for a further three years until October 2025.

The following is an extract from the re-accreditation decision letter:

“Consumers and representatives expressed satisfaction with the care and services provided. I consider the positive feedback provided by consumers is indicative that an accreditation period of 3 years is appropriate”

Coming Soon

Your invitation to participate in an Organisation wide initiative in 2023 is coming soon.

“Celebrating our Staff and Making Kindness the Norm”

More information in the next few weeks.

Staff Movements

We are currently advertising to appoint a Maintenance Manager to lead and support our maintenance team. We hope to appoint the successful candidate in early 2023.

I also wish to confirm that Lissa Reynolds (Hr Co-Ordinator) will be leaving us prior to Christmas. I personally wish to thank Lissa for her contribution and advice provided during her time with us.

Thankyou

I thank all staff who are working over the coming festive season as your extra commitment to providing care to our residents during this time is gratefully appreciated.

If you are not working and can pick up a vacant shift during this time, it would be a great benefit to your fellow team members and our wonderful residents.

Thank you for being apart of our wonderful team. Merry Christmas and wishing you all the very best for 2023.

Regards
