Out and About the School

Canteen Thanks

I would like to thank our wonderful team of volunteers, they are an incredible bunch of people who keep turning up. Without them, there would be no canteen.

Also, thanks to Year 6 for all their help this year, and to Year 5 who filled in when necessary. I wish all of Year 6 the best of luck next year.

This year we also have some long-serving canteen volunteers leaving us. We would like to say a special thanks to Sophie Johns, Kylie O'Brien and Amelia Smith for all your years service!

Regards

Sue Strachan (Canteen Manager)

Centacare Resources

Please have a look at the below resources from Centacare that may provide some helpful pointers for supporting children and young people through this next phase as they gradually bounce back from the flood.

Christmas Candy Canes

With the festive season fast approaching we will start to see a lot of children gifting candy canes. Students will not be allowed to consume these in the mornings before class. We will be monitoring this at school, but please chat to your child and remind them at home, thank you.

Students leaving

Please contact the office as soon as possible if your child will not be returning to St Xavier's in 2023. Most years have a waiting list with families eager to join the St Xavier's community.

Also a reminder if your child is not returning in 2023, you will need to download their school reports from Compass. After the end of this school year, you will no longer be able to access your Compass account. This includes Year 6 students.

Important- We need current contact details

We understand that moving house, jobs etc is a hectic time, but it is very important that we have up to date contact details for parents. If your details change, you can change them yourself on Compass or contact the office.
