Year 11- Analysing and Presenting Argument

At Year 11 English, Unit 1, Area of Study 2 - Analysing and presenting argument, students focus on the analysis and construction of texts that attempt to influence an audience. 

Students read a range of texts that attempt to position audiences in a variety of ways. Using the knowledge students have gained based on their reading, they put together a persuasive oral presentation to position the audience to agree with their selected current issue in the media.

Below are photos of some of our year 11 students, ready to present their speeches to the class. I am very proud of the work our students have achieved.
