Year 3/4–Celebrating Learning

3/4 - Mainstream

In Integrated, 3/4A and B students have been learning about the life cycle of Eucalypt trees. They began by thinking about what they already knew about Eucalypts and what they would like to know. We then went out into the school yard and used a table to identify Eucalypts at TPS. Students marked the location of Eucalypts on a map of the school and then completed an observation table of animals and insects that live in or near the trees. 

The 3/4 students have been learning all about Chance and Probability through playing games and doing experiments! We have also been learning all of the chance vocabulary, percentages and fractions and plotting them along a continuum. 

3 Steiner & 4/5 Steiner

Before the holidays, 3S performed their annual play, Joseph and his Dreamcoat. It was a complete success. The audiences were entertained and the children enjoyed playing their characters. Many thanks to the Steiner community, both past and present, for the amazing costumes that were made for the play.
