Gardening

This term in gardening we are becoming mycolgists! We are learning aboiut, observing and investigating the fascinating kingdom of fungi, and the role it plays in the ecosystem.

We also celebrated international composting awareness week by investigating 🪱  worms. Did you know that worms have no eyes or ears, but they have 10 hearts? 

Also a huge thank you to all of the families who came along to our working bee, despite the drizzly weather. We made a dent on weeding and mulching the front garden, painted signs, pruned, cleaned and organised the garden shelter, took away green waste and gave the chook pen some love ❤️
