Last Friday the Glen Iris District Tennis Competition was held.  Solway was represented by four excellent players including Sam V, Jack K, Grace C and Tully D. It is fair to say that we gave the tournament a real shake up! 

All 4 players made it to the Semi Finals, and Jack and Grace went on to win the tournament in their respective divisions. An amazing effort to have both winners come from Solway! We wish Jack and Grace the best of luck as they go on to compete at the Division Finals.  

Congratulations Ben S from year 4 who represented Solway at the Regional swimming event on Friday 25 March. Ben came fifth in his heat and then sixth out of the two heats, which included 17 swimmers. 

His swim time improved by 2 seconds from his last race, at division. We are so proud of his great achievement and the effort he put into his training. 

The Solway community were again out in force for race 6 of the 2XU Triathlon series on Sunday 27th March. It was a hot day down at St Kilda but that didn’t slow down our amazing Solway students and parents. There was great enthusiastic support from siblings too! The 22/23 series starts next November so hopefully we’ll see even more Solway students participating in and enjoying this awesome sport.
