Kildare Campus

Work continues to progress quickly at our Kildare Campus. Over the past month there has been significant progress on the site with much of the preparation work being completed and the buildings starting to take shape.
Fencing around the dam has been completed with infrastructure also being completed to allow drainage and irrigation across the campus. Two concrete pours have occurred over the past two weeks for the learning building and the administration building which is now ready for steel works to begin. This has been a major update as all pieces of steel need to be checked individually by engineers and cut to specific size. The exciting result here is that we will begin to see some structure in the next few weeks.
Major excavation work along the front boundary and for the car park has also been completed with further works to continue in the coming weeks. Conduits for power and NBN have been prepared with asphalt and kerbing to be completed soon also.
In other news, plumbing, drainage and storm water investigations have taken place at Dickson St (now formally known as the Brigidine Campus) with works to commence in the June school holidays. This is significant work to be completed prior to the underpinning of the front administration building.
In planning news, meetings have been underway for the past few months with regard to furniture and IT provision for Kildare Campus. We are also now into formal planning for Stage 2 which will include another learning building and technology space. Stay tuned for more information.
