Caritas Ks

On Thursday 31 March, students from various year levels from both St Marys and St Joseph's Echuca participated in the annual Caritas Ks event to help raise money for people in need around the world.
This year the walk was dedicated to helping the civilians stuck in the war-torn country of Ukraine.
Caritas is an organisation that is dedicated to helping and supporting people who are struggling around the world. There were buckets and bundles of wood that were supplied for students to carry so as to gain a better understanding of the struggles that some people sadly go through daily in their life.
The leaders of the event helped to make sure that people are understanding of how lucky we are to have constant easy access to food and water as well as other qualities of life that we take for granted in our lives.
Students enjoyed the walk and learnt much more about the daily struggles of some less fortunate people's lives.
