Campaspe Tennis
Eight tennis teams, from across all age levels, competed in the Campaspe Tennis Competition on Monday 4 April.
Under perfect conditions, the juniors took to the lawn courts in Kyabram, while the intermediate and senior teams played at Echuca College.
Intermediate boys did a fantastic job and came third, against tough teams from St Augustine’s and Echuca College. Intermediate girls showed great determination and came second but unfortunately missed out by only four games to go to the next level. Both the senior boys and girls teams played exceptionally well and have qualified for the LMR round. Also qualifying, and displaying some great tennis were the Year 7 boys and Year 8 girls.
The next round for these teams will be in Mildura on Tuesday 3 May. We wish them all the best and we look forward to watching their tennis journey.
