Secondary School News

Secondary students at JSA have launched into a busy Term 3. 

This week we had a visit from the Proactive Policing Unit who talked to classes about a number of topics: how the police help us in the community, how to use the 000 phone number in an emergency, responsible use of social media, and keeping yourself safe online. 

Also this week our famous JSA Canteen Café started up for 2022. Staff and students from Secondary have their lunch order day on Thursdays and Middle Years staff and students can enjoy a lunch order on Fridays. The Cafe team is headed by our wonderful Community Engagement Officer, Karen Glare, who leads the students to prepare and deliver lunches across both Sub Schools. Next week we will start our 5 weeks’ worth of swimming sessions at Broadmeadows Leisure Centre. 

An exciting start to the term!

Room 24

Room 24 has participated in different programs during Term 1and 2. 

All of them have been enjoying different special programs during those terms. On Wednesday, we alternate garden and cooking sessions, And on Thursday we have been enjoying Hands-on-Learning 

The class is very settled from what it was at the beginning of the term.
