Facilities Manager Update

During the term break, the decking around the new Middle School building was stained and resealed. Blackboards are being sourced and will be attached to the decking under the walkway for the students to enjoy.

An increase in the shade sail grant has been approved by the VSBA the installation has been scheduled for May 2022. The drainage and groundworks will be completed after the shade sail poles are in place.

The Outdoor Learning Area Shade Sails deposit has been received from VSBA. Work will commence when the final drawings have been received. It is estimated that these works will commence in June 2022.

The Planned Maintenance Program is going to tender. 

Other projects around the school are currently being quoted. These projects are anticipated to occur during the June term break. 

Capital Works Report

No updates on either project for the moment.

The OHS team are planning changes to our Evacuation plan for the period of the construction works.

We are also looking at the Traffic Management Plan for the school as part of a regular review and to ensure construction management is considered in the plan.
