Alpine Students

Year 9 students Connor Harrington, Callum Clarke, Patrick Cahill, Tilly Anderson, Madison Flynn and Ella Faithfull have set off to Dinner Plain for a Student Leadership Program that is running for the whole of Term 2. While at Alpine School the students will be focusing on developing their leadership skills in a range of different activities as well as engaging in general school curriculum. We wish them well and we will be in regular contact with students and families during the term.

Japanese Drumming Incursion

Last week students studying Japanese participated in a Japanese drumming incursion “Taiko” incursion. They learnt about the strength, discipline, concentration, commitment and teamwork required to create the best taiko sound.

Well done to all involved. We thank Kiyomi Sensei for coming all the way from NSW to teach us about Taiko.
