Music

The first performance for the term was this week. The Intermediate Band, String Ensemble, Senior Band and Swing Band all performed at the Open Night for Grade 5 and 6 students. Despite many students missing due to Grease rehearsals and other reasons, the students and staff really stepped up for this performance and we congratulate and thank all involved for their work. This is an important event which will, we hope, result in many newcomers deciding to enrol in our fabulous music program.

Grease

The local Production Line theatre company is just about to start its run of Grease. We are excited to have a number of our music students and staff involved with this and wish them all the best for the performance season. Students involved are: Rebecca Stevens, Callum Ingram and James Caddie, staff involved are: James Newman and Rosemary Iversen

Ensembles

All ensembles are up and running this week and we need to remind students to turn up to every rehearsal. We are working towards the East Gippsland Music Festival which will run at the end of term.
