Regional Exchange

Thank you to all the staff, students and JMSS families who made the 10 students feel so welcomed.

All of them mentioned that they loved their time here, and have left with great experiences and memories.

To the homestay families - Thank you! We could not run a program like this, without your support.

Another big thank you to Natalie Anderson, Leanne McLoughlin & Jade Bohni who were the dedicated teacher team for their 3 weeks. Your efforts and support are much appreciated. Thank you very much!

Year 12 Formal

On Tuesday the 3rd of May, the year twelve students finally got to celebrate their long-awaited formal at Leonda by the Yarra in Hawthorn. With the challenges of covid and lockdowns these past two years, we were all very grateful to have this event.

It was a great opportunity for the year twelve students to take a break from SACs, as well as celebrate their final year of high school along with their peers and teachers. Everyone really put an immeasurable amount of effort in their formal outfits which was amazing to see!

The night consisted of dancing, a delicious three-course meal, professional photographers, a photobooth, and most notably, the presentation of a handful of formal awards ranging from “best dressed” to “most likely to become an Olympic bobsledder.” I’m sure that everyone had a great time on the dancefloor to the point that we were all worn out by the end of the evening.

The year twelve formal was a truly magical experience, and special thanks to Mr Anderson, Mr Mackinnon, and the formal committee who made this wonderful event possible!
