YEAR 12 CAMP

Marta DRI (Social Captain) & Zaid D – I can confidently say that camp was a great bonding experience. Our teachers did an amazing job putting us into groups with friends and people who we created meaningful connections with. The staff at camp were not only supportive, but also challenged us to be adventurous and confront adversities. We all had heaps of fun and enjoyed everything until the last second. It was a memorable experience that we will never forget.

Georgie P (College Captain) - Our last Brighton Secondary College camp was definitely one to remember! It was a great chance to destress from the first couple weeks of busy SACs and spend some time together as a cohort. After we arrived, we all went for a walk to the beach and despite all the sunburns, some of us went back to the beach the next morning for a run (or more like a walk). All the activities we did, from the giant swing to frisbee golf were lots of fun and everyone had a good time with their activity groups. We also had a visit from some guest speakers and learnt about how to manage the busy life of year 12. Overall, it was a great last school camp and a massive thank you to all the teachers who came and the coordinators for organising it all!

Arjun ST (College Captain) - Although this was our last camp in high school, it certainly was a memorable one. The activities like the flying fox, giant swing as well as the high-ropes course were really exciting. We also had some amazing guest speakers that were really entertaining and taught us a lot (one of the speakers ran 52 marathons in 52 weeks!). Overall, it was an exceptional experience that we all enjoyed.
