VCAL Update

What a term our VCAL students have had! So many wondering learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom. Most recently our Year 11 students participated in a THRIVE "Relate Well" Day where they were provided opportunities to get to know their classmates and teachers outside of the classroom. The main message for the day was "Aren't we all on the same team?". Lord Somers Camp staff came down and ran a number of games and activities with the focus on building positive relationships and having fun. During the second half of the day, past VCAL students came to speak about their successes in VCAL and what advice they would offer current students. It was interesting to hear about their journeys and how VCAL gave them the skills to be successful. The Year 11s then had the opportunity to set their own goals for the year which have been collected and will be displayed in VCAL classes next Term.

All VCAL students should spend the holidays ensuring all their learning tasks are up to date. They can email their teachers for any assistance when needed.
