The Summit

The Year 10 Residential Project took place over two nights & three days at The Summit in Trafalgar. It was an exciting start to Term 2!

The program was certainly challenging and pushed the group out of their comfort zone.

The activities aimed to develop the skills of resilience, leadership, confidence, team-focus and personal growth. The activities involved a range of challenges for students, from obstacle courses to working at heights and problem solving.

The Summit is a multi- award winning, 50 acre outdoor adventure park with a primary focus on providing inspiring and life changing experiences - an amazing setting which gave students the exciting opportunity to try the flying fox, low ropes course, abseiling, climbing, the giant swing and of course the 'Monster Course'.

The group also stopped at the Ninja Park in Bayswater on the way to Trafalgar!

Well done to the amazing staff who led the trip and congratulations to all the Year 10s who made the most of a truly rewarding experience! It was fabulous seeing the students overcome their fears and push themselves.

The wonderful Summit crew wrote a blog detailing some the highlights from Huntingtower's 3 day program! We are grateful they shared some memories with us.
