CELEBRATING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE@CSPS

Term 2:  Student led conferences

CSPS students are proud to be able to share with their families the Pride, Passion, and Persistence they have in their learning. These conferences are led and facilitated by the students showcasing their learning progress. Students and families will get an opportunity to share and discuss the learning process and the next learning steps for success. We look forward to seeing CSPS families at the Student-Led Conferences in Week 9. Keep an eye out for COMPASS notifications and how to book a time for your conference.

Year 2 and 4 Buddies

After an exhausting morning of athletics, the Year 2 students joined forces with their Year 4 buddies to complete a scavenger hunt challenge. In groups of 2-4 students, they had a list of items to find plus activities to complete including drawing the local wildlife, sand art creations, and nature art. Everyone had a lot of fun with the sand art creations emerging as their favourite activity of the day. There can only be one winner and congratulations went to Gracie (Yr4), Sienna (Yr2) and Mikayla (Yr2). Runners up were Ayden (Yr4), Jack (yr2), John (Yr2) and Bailey (Yr4). Equal third place to Charlotte (Yr4) and Milla (Yr2), Zoey (Yr4) and Emma L (Yr2) plus Sienna (Yr4) and Lila (Yr2). 10/10 for participation from everyone!

More fun Buddy sessions

Today our buddies got together to use their imagination and create a board game together. There were a variety of interesting ideas ranging from Mario land to eating cookies and several games incorporated the activity of running around the oval if you landed on a certain space. Students wrote a plan of what was required and how the game would work prior to starting on the game board. After their board was completed, they got to play the game together and try each other's games out.
