GROK CODE QUEST

The Grok Code Quest starts on Monday 29 October. If you are already subscribed to Grok from a previous competition, you will have immediate access to the various Code Quests. There are the usual Blockly and Python Newbies, Beginners and Intermediate levels but there is also a Code Question for the BBC micro:bit. Grok has a simulator for the Micro:bit but if students want to try their programs out on the real thing, then come to A4 at lunchtime and use one of the school micro:bits.

This competition is running differently from other Grok challenges. Firstly, you don’t need to get your answers in on a fortnightly basis. Instead, you have until 2 December to complete the five week Quest. This means that if you fall behind, you still have a chance to catch up before the deadline without losing any marks.

If you have not participated in the Grok Coding Challenges before, please email Mrs Munro by Friday 26 October so that you could be entered.
