Prep & Year 5 Buddy Activity

Yesterday (21 August), the Prep students enjoyed a special activity with their Year 5 Buddies whilst our 2020 Prep students were in the Prep Learning Centre participating in our Transition Program! 

Presentation on the History of Aviation – Year 1

To support their current Unit of Inquiry, this week the Year One students were lucky enough to have Craig Ling, Pilot (and 1B parent!), speak to them on the history of aviation.

Craig prepared an informative and interesting hour long presentation which the students thoroughly enjoyed. The Year 1 Team.

Year 1 & 6 Buddy Transport Activity

As part of their current Unit of Inquiry ‘Where we are in time and place’, yesterday (21 August), the Year 1 students built future Lego transport with their Year 6 buddies to support the Central Idea ‘Transport changes over time’.

IMAX and Museum Excursion - Year 2

Last Friday (16 August), the Year 2 students travelled to the Melbourne Museum and IMAX to tie in with their current Unit of Inquiry ‘Sharing the Planet’. We were lucky enough to visit the ‘Bugs Alive’ exhibition and have a lesson with one of the Museum staff. We also viewed ‘The Flight of the Butterflies’ in IMAX. We all had a fabulous day. Enjoy the ‘Excursion Reflections’ from the Year 2 students below.
