Intermediate Australian Rules

Congratulations to the Intermediate Australian Rules team who played in the Southern Metropolitan Regional final last week. The team played their first game against Sandringham College and were convincingly defeated with a score line of 1.3.9 to 5.5.36. MGSC regathered to play against Berwick Secondary College with a win.

Unfortunately this wasn’t enough to progress to the finals at the conclusion of the day. Well done to all the players who represented MGSC in good spirits despite the result and thank you to Acelya Ozcoban (Year 10) for her coaching efforts.

The senior Netball team has also played in their Southern Metropolitan Regional final on Tuesday.

Over the next few weeks there are a number of teams heading out for their regional finals and round robin days. Please continue to check your emails, Compass and the screens for any information in relation to training sessions and match day information.

Good luck to all players and coaches involved.
