Farewell and Thank You Mr Phan!

The 8H Italian class of 2019 has created a tribute video for Italian teacher Mr Y Nam Phan, who is leaving DSC for overseas travels.

Mr Y Nam Phan joined DSC in May 2019 and was part of the CO.AS.IT Italian language assistant program. He was an inspiration to staff and students of all Italian classes and we thank Mr Phan for his incredible work this year. We hope you enjoy this video!

Year 9 Student Wins Anti-Violence Poster Competition

Congratulations to Daiety R-T (9G) who has won a poster competition associated with the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence campaign.

The campaign was run by the Municipal Association of Victoria and the Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria between 25 November and 10 December 2019.

The theme of the 2019 campaign was Respect Women: Call It Out  and encouraged people to call out sexism, sexual harassment and disrespect towards women when it is safe to do so.

Daiety’s poster will now be made available to other schools and organisations to support ongoing efforts against gender-based violence.

Well done Daiety!
