Introducing 2013 Graduate Liana Hardy

Q: When you left school did you ever envisage that you would be where you are today?

A: I never envisaged that I'd come this far. It has been an incredible journey not just creatively, but as an individual since graduating from DSC. I've been fortunate enough to have travelled across Africa, Asia and Europe several times. I've also partaken in student exchange during university and gained invaluable industry experience within the fashion field in which I'm currently working. I have surprised myself in many of my accomplishments!

Q: What do you find most rewarding about your job?

A: Since university, I've had a passion for photography. Having tapped into this hobby it soon become my career. The beauty of working in photography is that I get to meet people from all walks of life, and hear stories from entrepreneurs, fashion icons and iconic Australian celebrities.

I love fashion photography in particular because of my keen interest in fashion. Being an alumni graduate of Fashion Design and Technology has been handy for combining my skills in design with photography.

Q: If you could go back and tell your 'high school' self something, what would it be?

A: Pursue genuine interests and keep following your passions.

Catching up with Alumni Steph Ratcliffe in the USA!

As part of the USA basketball tour currently underway, students caught up with 2018 DSC alumni Steph Ratcliffe who is currently studying at Harvard! It was incredible to hear from a current Harvard student and the boys were very interested in what she had to say.
