For most classes the Big Write will also be held in Period 3 and 4. See details below.

On the Friday 24th May of this week we will also be holding a special Superhero parade to raise awareness and funds for Muscular Dystrophy. Muscular Dystrophy Australia provides support to the 1 in every 1000 Australian men, women and children affected by Muscular Dystrophy, through the provision of respite, education and training, information services, support groups and funding medical research. The parade will be held on the basketball court from 9.05am. Gold coin donation.

Next week on Thursday 23rd May the whole school will be participating in a BIG Write. The genre for this week is a Narrative. Stay tuned for the details but it will be a super fun explosion  of imagination! Photos will be sent home via Flexibuzz early next week. Get your family talking - in the car, at home, at dinner and catch the BUZZZZZ.

All families are encouraged to participate in the 'Big Talk' home  learning and discuss the topic and gather any ideas. A narrative has Characters, Setting, Problem and Solutions.  How can you include these ideas into your story?  If your child can talk about it they can  write it!
