Coronavirus

All information related to COVID-19 and the School's actions in relation to this have been placed in a special newsletter that is being updated 'live'.  To access this newsletter go to: https://inewsletter.co/veg4a1/bhcs-newsletter-covid-19-information-updates/#/4

Flexibuzz - More Important than ever

In this changing climate Flexibuzz will become on of our most important communication tools for all families. There is no restriction on which members of a family have access to this communication app and we strongly encourage both parents to sign up (you can always remove yourself later). You will need a password to gain access, we encourage you to contact office@bhcs.vic.edu.au if you need this password. We will verify you through the email address you are using with the one we have on file and you will need to indicate to us who your children are and which year levels they are in.

Uniform Changeover

During Term 2, there will be a uniform changeover period during the first three weeks of the term.  Parents are asked to use their discretion as to which uniform is the most suitable for their child to wear during this time.

With weather getting cooler over the coming months, please ensure that your child has a school jumper and sports rugby jumper.

As of Monday, 4 May all students will be required to wear the full winter uniform.  Details on uniform requirements can be found here, via our Parent Portal on our website:

Uniform shop update-

Message from Alinta

Firstly, we would like to thank you for the ongoing work with the school community.   Like all businesses relying on retail contact and sales, we have considered the current environment very carefully from a health perspective.  The more information that we obtain the more information we get on the spread and health risks for our staff.

It is with this information that we have made the decision to transition all School Uniform Shops to Online and Phone Orders during the upcoming break.  Please see attached for all particulars for your families.

GOOD NEWS

The good news is we are fully stocked with everything for Winter and Colder months.  Therefore we are not closing the Online and Call Centre components of the shops to allow families to purchase via phone or online whenever they are ready.

HOW WILL WE SUPPORT YOUR FAMILIES?

We will redirect all shop email addresses to the Area Supervisors

We will redirect all shop phone numbers to the Area Supervisors or Head Office

We will respond to all emails daily

We will reopens to all calls daily

VCE Students and Parents

As outlined at the recent information night, if you believe your child may be eligible for special consideration for assessment tasks or examinations please make contact urgently with either Vicky Fraanje vfraanje@bhcs.vic.edu.au or Michelle Visser mvisser@bhcs.vic.edu.au. Applications close on 27 March 2020.  This is predominantly concerned with pre-existing and ongoing learning and health concerns. This does not exclude emergency considerations which may occur later in the year.
