Careers Insight Evening

A massive thank you to all 57 Old Collegians who attended and presented at this year’s Careers Event.  Students had the opportunity to hear from Old Collegians in a wide variety of industries about their career paths and their daily experience in the workplace. The Old Collegians involved are thrilled to be able to give back to the College in this way.

Michael Hirst

Chief Executive Retail Bank, Bendigo Bank.

Career banker

William Armstrong (AO)

Former CEO of Australian Volunteers International.

Awarded Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia for services to the international community in 2003

Stephen McBurney

Chief Examiner of Victoria.

AFL Umpire over 400 games including four Grand Finals

Kieran Ault-Connell (AM)

Two time Paralympian; dual gold medal winner and world record holder.

Awarded Medal of the Order of Australia 2001

Neil Young QC 

Former Federal Court Judge.

Chairman of the Victorian Bar (1997, 1998) and President of the Australian Bar Association (1999)

Michael McCarthy

AFL player over 120 first grade games including two victorious Premierships with Hawthorn Football Club and 27 games with the Brisbane Lions.
