MFG Uniform policy

Dear Parents,

You may have heard that we have implemented a new process in 2018 that supports our uniform policy within our school. The process is aimed to make it really easy for staff and students to address uniform concerns that may come up. All teachers have taken this on as their responsibility to work on getting our uniform as consistent as it can be. As you well know, uniforms are expensive, so we’d like them worn, and worn well!

This flowchart helps to explain what we are doing to support students to wear the correct uniform:

Other procedures can be put in place to support this process, however generally speaking, we just want all our girls to be proud wearers of our uniform. Thank you for your support of our uniform.

Sport Uniform Update

We have just received an update about the two new sports uniform items that are being introduced at MFG this year. They are the rugby jumper and the alternate track pants (there will be two styles to choose from).

RUGBY JUMPER UPDATE - jumpers are in production and should be available to the distributors soon.

TRACK PANTS UPDATE – the prototype for the 2nd style has been delivered to the College and we have given the manufacturers the green light to go into production. The feedback from students about this 2nd style was resoundingly positive. Students definitely liked the fleece fabric for warmth and the cut for comfort.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that both will be available in term two before the cold weather hits us.
