SCHOOL CAPTAINS
The Captains held a meeting on Tuesday this week and are excited about the new ideas and initiatives that are going to be introduced this term. Stay tuned.

YEAR 12 CAPTAINS
We hope all the Year 12’s had a restful, yet productive ‘study break’ and are ready and raring for a busy Term 2.
Over the next two weeks we will be each be performing our persuasive English oral presentations as part of our English assessment. We would like to wish everyone good luck.

YEAR 11 CAPTAINS
Welcome back to Term 2. This term is going to be a busy one, with it being much longer than last term.
The Year 11 Presentation Ball is something to look forward to in the coming weeks. We have all been putting in lots of work to perfect our dance moves, and we are almost ready to perform it to our friends and family.
We are looking forward to another great term.

VISUAL ARTS
The Year 12 Arts Captains encourage all students to become more involved in art based activities. Coming soon to Tuesday lunchtimes will be 'Tutorial Classes' on drawing.
A new mural is being created using spray painted coke bottles and chicken wire to create flowers. We are very excited to see the final outcome of this!

HUMANITIES
Over the break we had the official opening of the World War 1 Mural. The ceremony was a great success.
Speeches were given by Hon James Merlino (Deputy Premier Minister for Education), Ted Beaulieu (former Premier of Victoria) and Otis Heffernan.
We were also very fortunate to have Ralph Goode’s daughters in attendance.
The school opening ceremony will be held this Friday 17 April.

SCIENCE
It's the first week back after the Easter study break and students studying Science are back in full swing. Students studying VCE Biology are right under the pump, with this week, undertaking their SAC on photosynthesis and cellular respiration! We wish them good luck!

SPORT
We're back, first week and we already have our senior students off to compete in Interschool sports; Table Tennis, Hockey and Basketball on Friday 17 April.
We also have our junior students currently fundraising for the upcoming Fun Run/Cross Country on Thursday 30 April. Big start to an exciting term.
