Year 7 Camp Phillip Island
Year 7s went to Phillip Island either in the last week of Term 1 or the first week of Term 2.
We went to CYC The Island camp. The activities that we did were; the giant swing, flying fox, mini golf, a visit to the lolly shop, trampolining, ab-sailing, archery and the mechanical rock climbing wall.
The food was typical camp food. On the first night, we ate chicken with chips and salad. For dinner on the second night we ate tacos. Breakfast was cereal and toast for both mornings and we had sandwiches and pie and sausage rolls for lunch.
In the cabins, there could be 4, 6 or 8 people in each cabin. There were bunk beds in the cabins and there was also a double bed too.
On the first night of camp we had a trivia night that Mr Rogers ran where we answered questions on music, history, sport and other fun topics. On the second night we participated in a resilience building activity which is called Rock and Water. We also did some meditation with Mr Neumann.
Thank you to the teachers who gave up their time from their friends and families to take us on camp. Thank you too to the coordinators who organised a fun camp for us.

Cross Age Tutoring for Maths and English
Just a friendly reminder, Cross Age Tutoring is being run every Monday after school until 3:45 pm, in the VCE Study Hall.
Cross Age Tutoring is open for all students from Years 7-9 who would like to bring any work from their Maths or English classes.
We have many skilled tutors on hand who can work 1-on-1 with students to complete homework, CATs, classwork, improve skills in your current area of study, or just provide a positive learning environment for completing your own work.
Parental permission is required, so bring along a note, and we will see you there!
