What's been happening!

In the last week of Term 1, we had a number of students finish off their job sheets and sit their Zoo Keeper test.

We’re very excited to welcome; Connor Slattery, Tayla Cole, Mikayla Minardi, Elisha Pearson, Sophie Jones, Jaden Dooley, Deanne Dolheguy, Taylor Harris and Emily Miller to the Zoo Keeper team.

These students are now busily working towards getting Head Keeper status and becoming responsible for an animal of their choice.

Earlier in Term 1, Head Keepers had the opportunity to work with Doug Gimesy, an award winning conservation and wildlife photographer who spent the day photographing our animals.

Doug recently sent us some of the images he took on the day. Doug’s hoping to come out again later this year to capture some more of our animals and give the students an opportunity to see what’s involved in wildlife photography.
