STUDENT LEADER'S NEWS

YEAR 11 CAPTAINS

Last Friday the Year 11 and 12 students took part in a 'Beanie Day'.

This was a fun day in which we were all invited to wear our beanies to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease. We were really glad to see so many people wearing beanies and supporting this great cause.

The School Production 'All Shook Up' was an awesome success and everyone should be very proud of themselves. We have so many talented students! Congratulations guys on a great show.

VISUAL ARTS

Recently we had the Yarra Velley Photography competition where students had the opportunity to enter their photos of how they perceive the Yarra Valley. Each and every student presented remarkable talent.  Six winners were chosen, ranging from Years 7 to 12.  All the winning photos will be displayed in the Library. Congratulations to the winning entries.

The Arts department is also creating another recyclable mural made out of plastic bags. This project will further develop throughout the coming months.

The October Arts festival is also coming up.  All students interested, should start thinking about your piece, because it’s not too far away now!
