Term 2 Sporting Success

Oakleigh Grammar had a very successful Term 2 on the sporting field, with a number of teams winning Premierships. Congratulations are extended to the following teams on their Premiership success:  

EISM Division 3 Athletics

The Under 13 Boys team won their age group Premiership at the EISM Division 3 Athletics Carnival.

National Schools Event - Melbourne  

Premierships were won by the Girls Volleyball and Girls Table Tennis Teams and the National Schools Event which was held in Melbourne this year.

EISM Year 7 Weekly Sport

The Year 7 Girls had a terrific season winning the EISM Girls Soccer Premiership.

Oakleigh Grammar Netball Club

Oakleigh Grammar won its first ever Netball Premiership by winning the Under 17 Division in the Caulfield Districts Saturday morning Netball competition.  

EISM 5-A-Side Futsal Tournament

Our Girls Futsal team won a thrilling Grand Final to take out the EISM 5-A-Side Futsal Premiership for the 5th consecutive year. 

Bentleigh District Runners-Up

Well done to our Bentleigh District Sofcrosse B and Boys Soccer Teams for winning through to the Grand Final and finishing as Runner-Up.

Shamus Smith - Rugby Union State Team Selection

Congratulations to Shamus Smith of Year 9 who has been selected in the State U15 Rugby Union Team. Shamus endured a number of gruelling trials over many weeks against tough opposition. He impressed the State selectors at the trials and was rewarded with a place in the U15 Victorian Rugby Union Team. Shamus will represent Victoria at the U15 Junior Gold Cup National Tournament in Queensland at the end of September.
