Boarding 

Last Friday two boarders, Billie Smitheram and Georgia Hodgetts, represented College at the Interschool’s Show Jumping Competition at Geelong Grammar. Both girls rode beautifully and Billie gained a very pleasing and deserving 7th place. This is a fantastic result for her personally and a great reflection of the time and energy applied in training. Both girls, along with all of the boarders with horses, put countless hours into their horses and their training and often start the day well before the rest of us. The commitment and dedication of all of these boarders should be recognised and commended. This weekend Georgia is off to the Victoria Dressage and Show Jumping Championships and we wish her the best of luck. 

Other boarders who excelled during the week were those who were part of the GD Swim team. A special mention to Fergus and Claudia Roberts who were two of the standouts on the day with Claudia breaking the record in the Senior Individual Medley. Another sport that calls for early morning starts and gruelling training sessions. Congratulations to all of the boarders who swam on the day and have also been selected in the ICCES Swimming team.
