A fortnight ago, I discussed the importance of parental engagement in our children’s’ education. I alluded to Professor John Hattie’s research that clearly indicated our children can enjoy greater success in school, if parents display enthusiasm for learning, encourage good study habits, learn new things and enjoy reading.
