Using Machine Learning And Data Analytic Approaches To Create A Data-Driven 'Vocation Map'

This interesting article appeared in The Age last week.  This study looked at more than 128,000 Twitter users, representing more than 3500 occupations. They found that different occupations tended to have different personality profiles, with greater differences for different occupations. The 'Vocation Map' is a system (with more than 70% accuracy) that identifies jobs that cluster together based on the personality of people currently employed in those occupations.  Read on for the full story.
