VCE Examinations

With these examinations fast approaching, I repeat my encouragement to all students who are sitting for at least one examination (ie, most Year 11 and 12 students) that they re-read the VCE Exam Navigator booklet they received earlier this year.  This document outlines the rules and expectations which the VCAA apply to the exams, it outlines materials needed for each examination and it provides information about processes to follow in various unexpected circumstances.  An examination timetable is also included.  Students should see me well ahead of the examinations if they have any queries about any of these matters.

Year 12 students have received their Leavers’ Clearance Forms and I again remind them that the forms need to be returned, completed, before each student will receive their School Reference.  An early start with subject teachers is encouraged, although I draw attention to Mrs Simkin’s comments in the Newsletter last week about not completing the Library part of the form too early.

Speech Day

As advised last week, for Speech Day tomorrow, all students in Years 6 to 12 will need their blazers.  Girls may wear summer dresses; boys are asked to wear long trousers and ties.
