Update on Bread Tags for Wheelchairs

Environmental Challenge for the Year!

Our whole school Environmental Challenge of collecting bread tags to assist disadvantaged people in South Africa is off to a flying start!

So far, we have had an amazing 100 St Simon’s families and staff who have volunteered to join in the challenge and have started to collect plastic tags.

We are lucky enough to have our challenge being accepted by the wider community with

the local Retirement Village in Rowville as well as the ‘Zero Waste Freebies’ Facebook Group joining us!!

So far we have 1, 171 bread tags and we only started on the 1st of September!

Don’t worry it’s not too late to join the challenge and start collecting! Just simply click on the link below and register your interest.

When we return to school in Term 4, there will be a drop off box outside the school office where families can place their bread tags in.

Please help us reach our school goal of 5,000 bread tags by the end of Term 4!
