R U OK? Day

R U Ok? day will take place across Australia on September 10th 2020. This is a national day of action across the country, where we are called to check in on one another and ask ‘R U OK?’.

R U OK? day is dedicated to supporting the emotional wellbeing of all members of the community through building and maintaining connections with others. Connection plays a crucial role in our health and wellbeing, and on this day we are reminded to reach out and open up conversations around mental health and wellbeing.

The theme for R U OK Day this year is ‘There’s More To Say After R U OK?’ The diagram below illustrates the steps we can take after we have asked someone ‘ R U OK?’.

On Thursday 10th September (R U OK? Day), we would like to ask that all students dress up in yellow, or add splash of yellow to their outfit for the day. We would love to see everyone wearing yellow to their google meets to promote the message of this day.
