Dear Families & Carers,

Firstly welcome back to our new term 4. The purpose of this newsletter is to inform parents and carers of the "Return to On-Site Learning" and the relevant  arrangements as of today. Let's all hope they only change for the better. The arrangements outlined  below will need everybody to co-operate so we can continue with on-site learning for the remainder of the year.

Concert Information

As creativity and persistence are highly valued in our community, we made the decision early on during the pandemic to organise a video version of our 2020 Concert, in order to give us the best chance of guaranteeing an event. For several months we were able to rehearse and prepare and came so close to achieving this goal: but the recent DET guidelines have made it clear that groups of children singing cannot be permitted.

Sadly, this means that we have no other option but to cancel the Concert this year.

The students and performance leaders should be proud of the work that they have managed to do up to this point, and should also keep in mind that it will not be wasted. They have learned so much about performance, and singing, and playing, and moving, and we will build on this learning so that when the opportunity to stage a proper performance comes along, we will be ready.

Reminders

All parents must be off site once your child has entered the school ground at the commencement of the school.

Parents are requested not to gather in groups outside the school grounds. We are still under Covid lockdown conditions.

We cannot have parents inside the school buildings for ant reason during school hours.

If you believe you will be late at drop off please contact the office by mobile when you arrive at school.

We must insist that you cannot be late to collect your child at the end of the day.

If there are any changes to these arrangements as deemed by DHHS & DET we will certainly communicate and implement changes as possible.

The next full newsletter will be published on Friday 17/10/2020.

Please stay safe and look after each other only 9 days until we hopefully have changes to the lockdown protocols.
