Reconciliation Week

Our school proudly celebrated and acknowledged Reconciliation Week during term 2. The theme for this year is 'Be a Voice for Generations'.

Our students engaged in a cultural workshop with Souths Cares in which they created their own art designs on canvas.

Students were also encouraged to 'be a voice for generations' by adding their own messages of reconciliation to our Reconciliation Wall. All students were provided with the opportunity to complete this activity during pastoral care lessons. They also viewed clips to teach them all about Reconciliation Week.

After a delicious lunch our students played some traditional Aboriginal games, including Buroinjin and Kai.

We thank our families for taking the time to join us on this day. Thanks also to the team at Souths Cares for facilitating the workshop.
