Foundation (Prep-Year 2)

The preps have been having so much fun exploring different materials to learn about addition. We have used unifix, water play, and kitchen role play to help us understand how to add 1 more to a group. In writing we are practising to trace and copy the letters of our names. We have enjoyed using paint, chalk, highlighters, pencils and textas. We are learning to start at the first letter and write from left to right.

Lower Primary (Years 3-4)

Last week the 3/4’s had fun at the Winter Fete we cooked cookies during inquiry and practiced our selling during speaking and listening. We had lots of fun being able to take 50 cents from our customers and hand out one cookie. We were also able to independently walk around and see all the other stalls in the courtyard. We had our Pizza Day this week in 3/4C as a reward for all our hard work during this term.

Upper Primary (Years 5-6)

During Term 2, students in Upper Primary students have explored the nature and meaning of work and why individuals choose to participate in work. Students have discovered that there are many reasons why people work- to earn money, to buy needs and wants, to look after the family, pay bills etc.  Students also shared their job aspirations for the future.
