I can now confirm that our Wakakirri performance date will be Thursday August 17! How exciting! Please keep that date free, and read on for further important dates.

 

PERFORMANCE: On the day of the performance, students will leave school at lunchtime and be bussed to the theatre with their teachers and parent helpers. They will remain at the theatre until the conclusion of the performance that evening. The performance starts at 7:15pm and will run for approximately 2 hours. Dinner will be provided at the theatre. Students will then need to be collected from the theatre by a parent or guardian. Further details about the day will be sent out closer to the performance date.

Year 4 - Cranbourne Botanic Gardens - Mon 19th June

This term in inquiry students have been learning all about Australia, the geography, places of significance and the landscape. To supplement this learning we will be taking a trip to Cranbourne Botanic Gardens and participating in a special learning session which includes: Discover the diversity and adaptations of animals and plants living amongst the extremes of Australian landscapes.Students will explore the wetlands and gardens of the award-winning Australian Garden and venture into the conservation zone to discover the natural wonders of the Australian bushland. Students will

* Explore the health and biodiversity of the aquatic environment

* Pond for aquatic invertebrates Key focuses

* Plant adaptations

Please bring a small backpack with snack & lunch and bottle of water and a rain coat weather permitting.
