Naidoc Week

Naidoc Week is held across Australia in the first week of July each year.  It stands for National Aborigines’ and Islanders’ Day Observance Committee.

Last week, all students at Clyde Primary School celebrated Naidoc Week and learnt about the history and culture of Australian and Torre Strait Islander people.  They participated in different reading, writing and inquiry activities throughout the week, aimed at building students knowledge of our First People.
