Over the past few weeks, our students have been on a culinary adventure, exploring the world of sandwiches. From classic favourites to innovative creations, they have been experimenting with flavours, textures, and presentation. Not only have their sandwich-making skills improved, but they have also developed their time management, ensuring that each practical is served with efficiency and precision.
But that's not all! Our hardworking Hospitality students are gearing up for an exciting opportunity in Term 3, work placement! This is their chance to take their newfound skills and put them into practice in real-world settings. From local cafes to upscale restaurants, our students will have the chance to immerse themselves in the hospitality industry, learning from professionals and gaining invaluable experience.
To showcase their skills and abilities before heading out on work placement, our talented students have something special planned at the end of this term. They will be catering sandwiches to a group of people, showcasing their creativity and culinary finesse. It's going to be a feast for the senses, and we can't wait to see their hard work pay off!
Looking ahead to next term, our Hospitality class is buzzing with excitement as they prepare to delve into the art of coffee making. From latte art to mastering the perfect espresso shot, our students will become skilled baristas, ready to whip up the perfect cup of joe. Get ready for some seriously delicious caffeine!
